The snow and ice is starting melt as Europe takes a short breath from a very cold winter. The continent has been covered in white powder from the north of Scandinavia to as far south as Rome and parts of North Africa. Here in Amsterdam it not only brought the usual snow covered streets but we had the canals freeze over good enough to engage in the dutch tradition of skating through the canals for the first time in years. Even the Amstel almost froze completely over. As always we had our cameras ready. We haven't had much time lately as our rehearsal schedule has been intense and we are still working on our photos from Israel but we thought we would share a few shots of our daily walk to a work as it's been pretty beautiful. Hope you enjoy and we wish everybody a safe and happy winter.
